These are essential “building blocks” that allow us to improve our knowledge and skill, letting our true talent shine.
Let’s start at the beginning, art history, art aesthetics (art elements, design principle,) art production and art critique. These parts are essential for a well-rounded art education (Getty Center for Education in the Arts) Each Artshop will include these 4 components. We explore together new possibilities and understandings of the creative plane through knowledge, conversation and fun. There is no “right or wrong” in the creative realm.

I wanted to write a brief testimonial about Artshop with Lisa. Being new to Florida and seeking new friends with a common interest, I decided to try a class. Having not practiced art in a very long time Lisa definitely reignited a spark laid hidden. With each class, I explore new concepts; new ideas and am somewhat surprised as what emerges. Lisa creates a relaxed atmosphere and a no judgment zone. Not only has she given me a new outlook on my art but she has inspired me to give Artshop classes in my town as well!
